01.Sample Itinerary

Discover the treasures of China on board our Yangtze Cruise. You will enjoy the Yangtze River in all its splendour. The breathtaking Three Gorges Dam, a whole range of impressions of China‘s longest river, which cuts its way through mountains and has centuries old historic cities along its length. You will see much beautiful scenery and enter in this fascinating mountain world.

three-gorges-1Day 1. Fly from Shanghai to Chongqing (you can take this tour from other cities, select the options below), once you arrive, you will be met byYangtze-Cruise.com representative. Have dinner in a popular local restaurant, andboard your ship. Sail from picturesque Chongqing, the "Mountain City" at 9 pm.

Day 2. Fengdu. Today visit Fengdu, the Ghost City, known for its gardens, temples and statues of shosts and devils. Relax on deck and observe both Chinese farm and village life.

fengdu-1Day 3. The Three Gorges/Daning River. Enter the Three Gorges, one of nature's most extraordinary sculptures. Today you will pass through the first two - Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Qutang Gorge is the shortest (5 Miles), narrowest (500 feet), and most dramatic. The 25-mile long Wu Gorge is known for its quiet beauty, forest-covered mountains, and the cliffs so sheer that the sun barely penetrates the precipices. Take an excursion through the Daning River*Small Gorges, which are narrower then the Three Gorges, but very impressive. Enter Xiling Gorge, the longest (41 miles), and the deepest of the Three Gorges. In the evening, sail through the Three Gorges Dam ship locks.

stream-1Day 4. Three Gorges Dam / Yichang. Morning visit to the Three Gorges Dam site at Sandouping, the largest project of its kind in the world. Arrive Yichang at 1:30pm, and disembark after lunch. You will be met by your driver in the lobby of your cruise ship, transfer to Yichang Sanxia Airport, and fly to Shanghai. (* This tour's price is caculated based on flying to Shanghai, however you can fly from Yichang city to other cites, choose the options below).
