Built in 1993 and last furbished in 1996, this four-deck vessel is 91.3 meters long, 16.4 meters wide, with a gross tonnage of 5191 and a draft of 2.6 meters. One thing worth of mentioning is that cabins on Serenity cruise are considerably larger than same class cabins on other Yangtze cruise ships. The size of a standard room is more than 19 square meters, compared with 10 to 16 square meters on other ships. The classic and aristocratic interior was designed with the consultations of some top western designers. The floors of public rooms and private cabins are carpeted with handmade pure wool. Well-equipped business center is made of marbles, coopers and Thai woods. All the sanitary equipment is made in Italy. The multifunctional entertainment hall, which can be divided into several sections, covers an area of 1200 square meters and can hold 500 guests.
Comprehensive service facilities include shops, business center, IDD telephone booth, hair and beauty salon, health center, recreation center, Karaoke room, coffee shop, sauna and massage, dining hall that serves both Chinese and Western food on the Sundeck.
